IAF will not host our traditional annual conference in 2027.
Instead, we’re going together.
We’re asking the ministers, churches, families, and friends who normally gather with us each year to make plans to travel to Monroe, where we’ll join Bishop John Wesley Jones and the Grace Pointe family.

Returning to our roots
Maybe this isn’t something new.
Maybe it’s a return to something old.
In the earliest years of our fellowship, conference wasn’t primarily an event produced in one location.
We traveled.
Ministers and families gathered at different churches, shared the responsibility, worshiped together, encouraged one another, and experienced what God was doing beyond the walls of their own local church.
Somewhere along the way, conference became more of an event.
So this year, we’re trying something different by returning to something familiar.
We’re going somewhere together again.
Why Monroe?
Because one of our own is there.
Bishop John Wesley Jones has been part of the IAF family for years. He and the team at Grace Pointe have faithfully served their community and built a thriving local church in Monroe, Louisiana.
This February, they’re opening their doors and inviting ministers and ministry teams to come see, learn, worship, ask questions, and experience what God is doing there.
And we think it’s worth going.
Not because every church needs to become Grace Pointe. Not because every method will work everywhere. But because sometimes you need to get outside of what you know and see what someone else has been building.

Something we’ve said for years
“Check your preference at the door.”
It’s a phrase that has been part of our fellowship for years.
It never meant that everyone had to think alike.
It meant that when we came together,
we made room for one another.
- Different churches.
- Different personalities.
- Different generations.
- Different preferences.
But when it was time to gather, fellowship mattered more than getting everything our way.
That’s still worth protecting.
Come to Monroe.
Come see what someone else is doing.
Come sit at someone else's table.
Come worship with people you may not see every Sunday.
Come reconnect with old friends and make some new ones.
